Coach Kellie Borges

Hello there,
Thank you for visiting my website! I began playing tennis seriously during my sophomore year of high school and quickly fell in love with the sport. By my senior year, I was team captain and worked as a tennis instructor at In-Shape Health Clubs.
After graduating high school, I earned my B.S. in Business Management from Fresno Pacific University. During my first year of college, I became the Lead Tennis Instructor for the City of Visalia Parks and Recreation Department, where I continued to grow the program over the next three years.
After completing my degree, I moved to Sacramento with my husband and, in July 2019, became the varsity head coach for the Folsom High School girls’ and boys’ tennis teams. I implemented significant changes that led to great improvements and positive outcomes for the teams.
During the pandemic, I launched my own tennis lesson business, which became a valuable outlet for kids struggling through 2020. In 2024, I retired from coaching at Folsom High to focus more fully on my business. I had a wonderful five years coaching there, but I’m now excited to dedicate more of my time and energy to teaching my students.
In 2023, I began seriously playing Pickleball at the Rancho Murieta Pickleball Club. In June of 2025, I started teaching beginning clinics in Folsom and for the RMPBC.
